Why OC?

Did you know that Orange County?
Is a thriving center for innovation?

Located along the Pacific Ocean between San Diego and Los Angeles, Orange County (OC) is the second largest county in California and the fifth largest county in the United States.

There are currently 34 cities in OC with a combined population of more than 3,000,000.

At 3,872 persons per square mile, OC is the second most densely populated county in California and 18th among all counties in the U.S.

OC is now a “minority majority” county where no single ethnic group comprises more than 50% of the population.

If OC were a country, it would rank it 37th in the world in Gross Metro Product (GMP). It has a larger Gross Domestic Product (GDP) than Israel, Singapore, Czech Republic, Chile and New Zealand.

In 2005, Forbes ranked OC 27th out of 150 metro areas as the best places for business and is the 27th largest economy in the world.

The result of Orange County Innovation is evident in the enterprising ecosystem of startups and market leaders that are defining economic opportunities. Technology research and development firms have found an ideal location that offers a quality of life that will attract and retain creative talent from across the nation and abroad. Orange County has the real estate, recreational, sports, educational and cultural opportunities to support a broad range of business and personal lifestyles. An extensive network of professional services, ranging from financial institutions, accounting firms, law firms and other service providers that specialize in technology are available to foster innovation.
